For PSV License, it will cost from RM80-RM200 depends on areas and driving institutes, however the maximum ceiling price for PSV License is set at RM200 by
MOT (Ministry Of Transport). Medical check-up will cost around RM50-RM80 depends on clinic location and rate.
For E-Hailing Insurance is a little complicated as it depends on your car insurance provider rate. For instance, if your car insurance is under Grab Panel which provides Daily E-Hailing coverage, it should cost you RM1.00 - RM2.00 /day. For Insurance which is not under Grab Panel and only provide Annual E-Hailing coverage, it will cost you around RM300-400/year.
The one that will cost you the most is when your insurance companies DO NOT provide E-Hailing coverage such as TAKAFUL MALAYSIA, RHB INSURANCE, TUNE PROTECT and AIG INSURANCE. You will have to change your insurance company which may cost you a new policy quoted by your new insurance company.
For Puspakom inspection, this only applies if you car is aged 2-years-6-months and above. It will cost you RM75 on first inspection, RM50/annually and RM25 if you failed the test and go for reinspection.
That's all it.
Assuming you are driving new car with insurance under Grab Panel. You will only have to spend RM80(PSV) + RM50(MEDICAL) = RM130 upfront cost.

ReplyDeleteyears and is jobless since MCO on March 2020. My contact of service was terminated in this month. The company is unable to employ us because full recovery of business in Travel & hotel to normal as before Covid-19 is unpredictable.
I am very disappointed as my age has just exceed 70 after the MCO on 19 March. My birth date in Mykad is 10-4-1950. I was born in Taiwan in 1953, and my age on immigration document was change to the said date in order to faciliate my entry into Malaya in 1958. My biological age is 67, I still own official document from the Taiwan authority stated I had registered a new date of birth before emigrant. Would you reconsider my application if I enclose my document?
I own a Bezza registered in 2016 but I will buy another new car if I am accept as Grab Driver. Currently I hold a PSV license till 10-4-2022. I am in very good health.
Thank you
